Highlights
- Hope (Messiah) joins the Danger Room with Borrow Power: she copies a mutant's power and makes it her own.
Combat Rules
- New: every power has a Power Source: X-Gene, Tech, Training, Mystic or Mutate. Only X-Gene powers can be borrowed.
- The basic cards (Light Strike, Heavy Strike, Block, Grab) and the martial-arts cards (Throw, Bear Hug, Backflip Kick and the like) are Training. Kneecap is Tech. Pixie's Nightmare powers and the Knight of the Realm's are Mystic.

- New: Borrow Power (1 Stamina, Instant, Reach 3). Copy one X-Gene power of a mutant, friend or foe, up to 3 hexes away. It is your card until you borrow another. Not Tech, Training or Mystic powers, summons or team-ups.
X-23
- Changed: borrowing Pop Claws gives Bone Claws: Hope copies the bone, not the adamantium on it.

- Every move in Paradise has a Power Source, and a Mimicked As field for the card a mimic gets instead.
