Fragments & Mosaics

The world's lore, in pieces. A Fragment is one piece
of in-character knowledge about something that happened.
A Mosaic is the full picture its Fragments add up to -
every Fragment belongs to one Mosaic, at a set place in
its story (1st, 2nd, 3rd...).

@mosaic

Lists every Mosaic, how many Fragments make it up, and
which ones you've completed.

@mosaic <name>

Reads a Mosaic: the Fragments you hold (the rest show as
???), and as much of its full picture as those
Fragments reveal - the rest stays redacted until you hold
them all.

@mosaic/teach <fragment> = <character>, <reason>

Teaches a Fragment you hold to another character standing
here with you - it doesn't take your own copy away, it
just gives them one too. You can only teach a Fragment
you actually hold. A justification is required - the
in-character reason you're sharing it, e.g.
@mosaic/teach Shaw's Rise = Hope, because she needs to
know what she's walking into. It's shown to the room and
kept on record.

Completion

The moment being taught a Fragment leaves you holding
every Fragment of its Mosaic, that Mosaic's full picture
is revealed to you privately. If a new Fragment is later
added to a Mosaic you'd finished, it opens back up until
you hold that one too.

Builders

@mosaic/create <name>

Creates a new Mosaic.

@mosaic/fragment <name> = <mosaic>, <content>

Writes a new Fragment at the end of that Mosaic.

@mosaic/link <fragment> = <mosaic>[, <order>]

Moves a Fragment to a Mosaic and/or a position in its
story. Fragments always show and reveal in this order,
not alphabetically.

Aliases: mosaic, +mosaic.
